Fair Oaks has invested in Boostlingo to help us assist and connect fully with all residents and families. With on-demand video and phone access to professional and qualified interpreters specializing in healthcare communication, we can quickly provide accurate interpretation and bridge language barriers to better connect and serve our residents and their family members.
By utilizing this interpretation service in our facility, we can advocate effective communication between limited–English proficient (LEP), deaf and hard of hearing patients and providers. Trained medical interpreters whether they be in-person, over the phone or a video remote interpreter, provide the necessary communication between healthcare professionals, our staff and LEP patients effectively which increases the quality of care our residents receive, boosts patient satisfaction, and supports patient safety.
