Norma Gerdes, Director of Nursing

Norma is our newest department head, having started in November 2006. She brings an array of knowledge from working in hospitals to different aspects of long term care over the last 15 years. Being the Director of Nursing brings its own set of challenges and stress but Norma has been a willing participant in our goal to make this the best possible home for our residents and their families.” Many times the plan is to bring years to the residents life, but my goal is to add life to the residents’ years.” Norma is a single mom, raising three boys which of course helped her to learn how to manage time and stress.
