Joyce Surdick, Administrator

Joyce has been at Fair Oaks for ten years, the first two and a half as Director of Nursing. She is originally from Wisconsin where she started in healthcare as a nursing assistant in the days before you had to be “certified”.
“ I love Fair Oaks, the small size, the awesome staff and a company that cares utmost about the safety and happiness of the people they serve. My most important job is to hire the people that can do a great job but I still like to get out on the living area and do the “real” work when I get the opportunity”. Joyce is married to Jim, they have four grown children. During this empty nest time they have added Bro-dee and BiBi, brother and sister Chi-weenies (part Chihuahua part Daschaund) to their family. Bro-dee and BiBi are daily visitors at Fair Oaks.
